| Is a small press company that currently is the parent for two on-line magazines The Lorelei Signal and Sorcerous Signals We will be expanding into publishing short novels and anthologies during the coming year - Our first publication was A Time To... Volume 1 - The Best of the Lorelei Signal 2006 (2008 EPPIE Finalist in Fantasy and Tiptree award nominee) We are not looking to publish long novels as there are a large number of really good small press publishers as well as the bigger NY houses available for that. We do want to offer a place for authors with stories that are too long to be classified as a short story and too short for a novel. We hope to specialize in Science Fiction and Fantasy - but will consider any genre except erotica. We will be using Lulu.com as our primary printing and distribution service and will link from our catalog page to our Lulu storefront. There will also be links to a separate promo page for each book as well. Since Lulu can be used by anyone - why would you want to have us publish your book and decrease your profit? 1) We will be fronting the money for the global distribution services - not you. This will get your book listed on Amazon.com and other on-line retailers as well as listed in Books in Print with WolfSinger Publications as the publisher - NOT Lulu.com 2) It is always a wise decision to have someone else doing the final edits on your book as they bring a fresh set of eyes and an unbiased perspective to the project. This will again save you initial out of pocket expenses as you will not be paying for a copy editor up front. 3) Someone else is doing all the formatting and prep work to prepare your book for publication. Saving you time and expense. Once we have enough books in the catalog - we plan on setting up with FictionWise to offer multi-format ebooks. Our ebooks are currently offered through Mobipocket.com and Amazon.com in their new Kindle format as well as downloadable .pdf from Lulu.com - we are in the process of setting up with Sony's eConnect. Because of the increasing opportunities for electronic books and the flexibility this allows, we are now considering a wider range of submissions - some of which will be for electronic release only at this time.
